Ann Squire

DURHAM ??? Ann Little Squire, age 86, of Durham NC, passed away peacefully from natural causes Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born oneecember 16, 1929 in Statesville, NC to the late Dr. Lonee and Beulah Little. She graduated from Statesville High School and Women???s College of the Uneersity of North Carolina. She truly loved her family and they each played an important role ineer life. She loved chatting, especially with her children and life-long friends. Some of her favorite pastimes include playing bridge, eating, cross-word puzzles and keeping up with family on social media. She was an avid ACC follower. She is survived by her son Mark Zimmerman (Nicoleta) of Lake Charles, LA; her daughters, Laura Christensen (Robert) of VA, Dede Ferrell (Grady) of Raleigh, NC, Linda Zimmerman of Durham, NC and SusaneeClair (Paul) of Durham, NC. Ann is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Nicole Wood, Holly McLean, Logan Christensen, Luke Christensen, Anna Brown, Leah LeClair, aneeric LeClair as well as 10 great-grandchildren. And last, but not least Anneeaves behind her faithful dog, Chipper. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with Robert McCullough officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, NC. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
