Angeline Kalaitzoglou

Angeline Kalaitzoglou passed away October 2, 2013 in Durham, NC at her home. Borneecember 6, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, she was preceded ineeath by her parents Helen and Nicholas Moraites and her younger brother, Ted Moriates. Angeline is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harry Kalaitzoglou, and her three children; Nicholas, Michael and Julia Kalaitzoglou; seven grandchildren, Allan Cole and his fianeeacute;e Jessica Knight, Elaina Cole, Christina Kibler, Jacob, Alex aneerik Kalaitzoglou and Brittany Powell; and two great grandchildren, Alexa Cole and Christianeean. Angeline served as president of the Philoptochos Society at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Dayton, Ohio. Since moving to Durham in 1984, she was an active member of St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church. She was the voluneer coordinator at Meals on Wheels for many years. Angeline would like to be remembered for her compassion, spirit, humility and as a voluneer for Meals on Wheels. She will be greatly missed and is loved by her sister, Antoinette Roach and her brother, John Moraites of Ohio. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawneemorial Park. Friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:00 AM before the service Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 8306 NC Hwy 751, Durham, NC 27713.
