Angela "Ann" Marie Greene

ROXBORO: Angela ???Ann??? Marie Greene, beloved daughter of Augustus Bryon ???A.B.??? and Carolyn Fuller Greene, died, August 19, 2014 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitationeenter. Ann was born with special needs on March 19, 1962 in Winston-Salem, NC and her parents were told by doctors she would not live past infancy. After disproving that medical prediction and two others at ages 6 and 21, she went on to live until the age of 52. Though Ann???s debilities proved challenging at times for her caregivers, she brought much joy, love and unity wherever she was. Wherever Ann was found, music and laughter were not far away. Ann???s former residences included the cities of Henderson, NC and Boone???s Mill, Bassett, Rocky Mount, Fredericksburg, and Nathalie, VA. Among others who cherish the memory of Ann are her brother Byron Green, III and wife Pam Ballard Greene of Beaver Creek, Ohio; her sister, Carol Greene Rush and husband, Miltoneerrell Rush of Mebane, NC; and her brother Harold Greene and wife Lori Boone Greene of Peoria, Illinois; as well as 4 nephews and 3 nieces, and a host of aunts, unees and cousins. A celebration of Ann???s life will be held at the Oxford Baptist Church on October 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM with receiving of guests to follow in the Family Life Center. Reverend Chris Aho and Dr. Steven Bolton will lead the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Oxford Baptist Church, 147 main Street, PO Box 398, Oxford, NC 27565 (memo: Angels Greene memorial).
