DURHAM- Aneea Hoyle Goodwin, age 65, died peacefully January 22, 2017, at the Hock Family Pavilion in Durham. Aneea was born in Morganton, NC, in 1951, the much-loved eldest child of Hugh aneelizabeth Carroll. Aneea's greatest joys were found ineer family, and ineer service as a Registered Nurse, a career in caring for others, particularly the elderly, that spanned more than forty years. Aneea is survived by her three children and their families: Jenneer Jewett and husband Randy, of Durham; Jeffrey Swink of Shelby, NC; and Joshua Swink, wife Anee, of Watertown, NY; five grandchildren: Tate Jewett, Caleb Swink, Layla Swink, Maggie Swink, and Jonas Swink. She is also survived by her two sisters:?? Adaire Salt and husband, Al, also of Durham, and Mary Carroll-Hackett of Rice, VA. She was preceded ineeath by her beloved husband, David (Goody) Goodwin, formerly of Sheffield, VT, as well as by her eldest grandson, Beydn Swink. The family will hold a private service at a date to be determined.
