Anee Sue Pickard

Anee Sue Pickard: 88, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at The Pavilion at Croasdaile Village, Durham. She was born October 3, 1925 to J.E. Pickard and May Johnson Pickard. Ms. Pickard was a graduate of Durham High School and Duke Uneersity. She retired as the office maneer of Davis and Loehr Medical Offices. She previously worked in the insurance department of Duke Hospital and was also in the investment business early ineer career. Anee Sue was a lifelong, active and devoted member of Temple Baptist Church in Durham. Anee Sue enjoyed traveling and was a loving and supportive part of her family. She was preceded ineeath by her parents and four brothers, James, John, Joe and Lewis Pickard. Surviving are: two brothers, Kenneth Pickard of Durham, Bill Pickard and wife, Myrtle of Durham; and many loving nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Monday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 West Main St., Durham. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in The Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham. Pastor Mark Mofield will preside. Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Durham.
