Anee Louise Moss

Anee Louise Moss, age 89, died Tuesday evening, neember 9, 2010, at the Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest. Anee Louise was born in Franklin County on May 27, 1921 to the late George and Anee Bertha Winbon Laughter. She was a long-time member of Union View Baptist Church in Franklinton. Anee Louise is survived by her three children: James A. Moss and wife, Carolyn, of Raleigh, NC; Cecil H. Moss and wife, Brenda, of Fayetteville, NC; Becky Burris and husband, Tim, of Youngsville, NC; her three sisters, Joyce Pearce and Shelby Laughter, both of Franklinton; Frances Peed of Hamlet, NC; two brothers, John Laughter of Wilmington, NC and George C. Laughter of Durham, NC; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Norman Otis Moss; her sister, Sallie Laughter; and two brothers, Curtis and Kenneth Laughter. Friends may visit Friday evening from 7:00-8:30 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home of Joyce Pearce, 2 Dover St. in Franklinton. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, neember 13, 2010 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton. The Reverend Jonathan Chaneer of Union View Baptist Church will preside. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
