Alice Grubb Vogler

Mrs. Alice Grubb Vogler, 85, of Bear Creek, died December 26, 2011 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Borneecember 4, 1926 in Nassau County, NY, she was the daughter of Herbert Luke Grubb and Florence Welker Grubb. Mrs. Grubb lived most of her life in the Buffalo, NY area and relocated to Chatham County about 3 years ago. She was a Red Cross voluneer for a number of years, and was a member of the Unitarian Church of Buffalo. She is survived by her husband, William Edward Vogler, Jr.; son, Rex J. Vogler, Charles Vogler, Kurt D. Vogler and Thomas P. Vogler; daughter, Linda Mirrillo; brothers, Herbert, Robert and Fredrick Grubb; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, a son, Bruce Vogler, preceded her ineeath. Mrs. Vogler will be cremated.
