Marguerite Elliott West

Oxford, NC Marguerite Elliott West, age 84, died on neember 26, 2019 at Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center. She was born to the late Zebuleon Vance Elliott and Lonie Elizabeth Elliott on neember 23, 1935 in Granville County. Marguerite was a lifetime resident of Granville County.?? She met and married her husband in 1956 and raised two children. ??While maintaining a home and farm, she also assisted her husband, Ulis Scott West, Sr., for 18 years running West Grocery on 96 North. She loved flowers and working ineer yard. Marguerite had a strong faith ineer Lord and Savior and was a kind woman who was a neighbor to all. Marguerite is survived by her children, Marquita Anneest of Raleigh, NC and Ulis Scott West, Jr (Jamie) of Roxboro, NC; and her sister, Maxine Ball of Oxford, NC.?? She will be missed by neerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many loving friends and family. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Ulis S. West, Sr.; and her siblings, Frances King, Isabelle Gandy, William ???Buck??? Elliott, Lucia Shearin, Watkins Wilkerson Elliott, Ruth Gandy, and Zeb Elliott. Visitation for Marguerite West will be held on Saturday, neember 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Gentry ??? neell & Vaughan. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, neember 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel officiated by Rev. Victor Blackwell. Burial to follow service at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery located on Oak Hill Church Road, off of Goshen Road.
