Frances Nee Darby

Chapel Hill: Frances Nee Darby, age 82, died on August 14, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1940, to the late Maurice Lyden Nee and Mary Louise Mahar.

A graduate of Georgetown University, well respected real estate agent in the Washington DC area for over three decades and devout Catholic, Frances is survived by her four children (John Joseph Darby III, Maurisa Lyden Darby, Christopher Brennan Darby, and Alexa Nee Darby), six grandchildren (Brennan, John, Ryan, Gibson, Sean, and James) and two brothers (Maury Nee and Michael Nee). Frances was preceded in death by her two brothers (Peter Nee and Tino Nee) and her sister (Betsy Nee).

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen organization.
