Ann Holmes Collins

FRANKLINTON, NC COLLINS Ann Holmes Collins of Franklinton, Age 77, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at her residence. She was a native of Franklinton, NC and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Irene Holmes. Mrs. Collins was a member of Popes Chapel Uneed Church Of Christ, former secretary and a member of the choir. Mrs. Collins is survived by her loving husband, Joe Collins of Franklinton; her daughters, JoAnn Ball Jimmy and Carol Abbott Phillip of Franklinton; 4 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 sisters Nell Cyrus of Franklinton; Dorothy Newton of Creedmoor; brother Henry Holmes of Oxford. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 2 PM at Popes Chapel Uneed Church Of Christ with the Rev. Don Ward presiding. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, NC. The family will receive friends at the home. Flowers are accepted or memorials canee made to Popes Chapel Uneed Church Of Christ.
